An effectively bi-lingual actor, Weng Kee, a veteran in the performance industrybegin his journey starting out as one of the most promising solo finalist in theNational RTS (now TCS) Talentime ’78. He went on to garner the coveted role ofJudas in the Andrew Lloyd Webber rock opera “JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR”for the Sceneshifters. He has been from stage to television to movie, withmemorable wacky role as Chan Tik in the local movie ‘Chicken Rice War’. Withan impressive range spanning 4 decades from 20 something young man to adecrepit 60 year old as Fu Long in ‘A Tinted Edge’ for Toy Factory which earnedhim a BEST ACTOR NOMINATION for Life! Theatre Awards 2000. WengKee’s most recent achievement was playing Jia Ling’s drunken father in A NewLife a 20 part mandarin drama series, which won Best Drama Series in theSingapore Star Awards 2006.

Renee Chua
Renee is 'Ginny' in Implosion
Renee plies her craft in theatre as an actress and drama facilitator, and uses it as a facility toinspire audiences and students, in the way that theatre has inspired her.She graduated from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Economics and ChineseStudies, with a minor in Theatre Studies. A fresh actor on the theatre scene, Renee is currently theAssociate Artiste with Tapestry Playback Theatre and performs regularly in school and corporateperformances. In addition to acting for theatre and film, she also works as a drama facilitator tonurture and create works with the youths.She has recently performed in Immortalx with Theatre Practice and Huayi 2007– Chinese Festivalof Arts at Esplanade outdoor puppet show.

Kay Foong is relatively new to the Performing Arts scene. He has shown particular interest inActing, Magic and Ballooning, and has been performing in churches ever since. He is an OrdinaryMember of the Association of Singapore Actors (ASA) and also a member of the Artistes ChristianFellowship (ACF) in Singapore. He graduated from MediaCorp's Talent Training Course in 2003.Some of his TV credits include ‘True Courage Series 3 – Starting Over (Again)’, ‘Turning Point’,‘The Undisclosed’,‘Tiramisu’ as well as other featured roles on all local English and Chinese TVChannels. Some of his film credits include ‘I Do I Do’, ‘One More Chance’, ‘I Not Stupid Too’, ‘JustFollow Law’ (J Neo Family) and a Hong Kong movie titled ‘We Are Family’. His Theatre creditsinclude ‘Iron Man Story’, ‘LaoJiu the Musical’ (The Theatre Practice) and ‘Momo’ (DramaBoxNenemas)He is now a freelance actor / host / magician / clown / mime / balloon artist.

As an actor, she has worked with theatre companiessuch as Faithworks, The Necessary Stage, Wild Rice Project Chili Padi, Imaginarts, Dramabox,Dramaplus Arts and D’Rama Arts doing Assembly school shows for students. She has also beeninvolved in productions such as The Magic Paintbrush (I-Theatre), Blue Horses (Act 3International), Poetic License (Stages), Laura’s Star (I-Theatre), The Little Red Hen (I-Theatre)and Showoff V (Faithworks) . She also facilitates and hosts events for companies. Past corporateclients include M1, L’Oreal, JVC, Subaru and Walt Disney Television (Playhouse Disney Channel).As a drama trainer, she teaches drama and drama-related skills such as Oral Presentation,Storytelling and Stagecraft to children in priamary and secondary schools, welfare organisationsand kindergartens. He has performed in LASALLE-SIA’s Caucasian Chalk Circle, Fanshen and alsoacted in ANTIGONE in Greece and Romania with UNESCO. Juliana Ong
Juliana Ong is 'Mel' in Implosion
Juliana Ong has been in the theatre scene for the last 10 years. Currently holding onto two parttimejobs and a full-time school schedule majoring in Communication Studies at The StateUniversity of New York, Buffalo at SIM.
Her TV credits include Channel 5's ‘Incredible Tales’ and‘Tab TV’ in November 07 and Channel U's ‘Hooked’. Her Theatre credits include "Kundabuffer"(Aporia Society, 2000), "Do You Still Love Me?" (The Aporia Society), a movement piece “HA-KO”(The InSource) and "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day - The Musical"(The Players Theatre). She has also worked alongside local directors such as Luke Kwek and NgYi-Sheng, who have staged shows such as, "Roses & Hello" and "Georgette" respectively, whichwere both put up for The Next Stage's "Five Foot Broadway" showcase.
She makes the time towork on school shows with Euphoria Productions and has taught Speech & Drama withcompanies such as, JoyArts and CreativeWorkz. She has received voice and acting training fromDramaplus Arts, SRT's Young Company, CentreStage Arts and was a participant in the 11thintake of The Radio Academy. Shem Teo
Shem Teo is 'Kai' in Implosion
Shem is a relative newcomer in the acting industry but driven by an immense dedication andpassion to the craft. has been doing free-lance acting for less than a year. He has done a shortfilm for entry into Project pilot competition (by Temasek Polytechnic) and landed a supporting rolein a feature length film for an upcoming asian film competition as well as several other short filmsfor NUS. Away from the camera, most of his exposure to theatre and the stage comes fromTheatre studies modules offered in University, where he was involved in a 1 off, 1 night onlyproduction comprising of 3 back to back short plays.
